As the demo is only for 3 minutes in front of an increasing drunk people, I'll try to keep it as interesting and short as possible.

On a side note, most, if not all, features of GBIF MAPA will be put into BioMaps2 which will be the next best thing in terms of biodiversity. I can't say much at this stage but it will provide a whole heap of information for all types of users. An intermediate version of BioMaps (v1.5) will be out in January 2007 which will include changes mainly on the back-end, making it a lot more stable.
